New Green Energies – Solar, Wind, and Water




Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available. Thanks to modern technology, solar power can be harnessed for a variety of uses, including generating electricity, providing light for a comfortable interior environment, as well as heating water for domestic, commercial, and industrial use. Solar energy is a flexible energy technology with plants being built as distributed generator or as a central-station, utility-scale solar power plant.

Deriving first-of-its-kind and most advance experiences from PRC China, Prospect Time is an expert in research and feasibility study, location finding and identification, planning and designing, building and installing large scale static, and floating solar farm through the advanced 3rd generation solar photovoltaic technology.

Pursuant to one of the world’s largest floating solar farm (160,000 panels with a 40-megawatt power plant) being launched in Anhui province, China also produces 2/3 of the world’s solar panels. We also see an tremendous 50% increase in the amount of solar power installed worldwide in 2016 as a result of a significant drop (67% since 2011) in solar panel installation costs.

Prospect Time’s 3rd generation photovoltaic (PV) cells or solar cells are made from a variety of new materials besides silicon, including solar inks using conventional printing press technologies, solar dyes, and conductive plastics. Some even use plastic lenses or mirrors to concentrate sunlight into a very small piece of high efficiency PV material; thus making the system more cost effective for use by utilities and industry.


Wind energy is another form of solar energy where wind turbines are used to convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power, and the generator can then further convert the mechanical power into electricity.

Catering to the variation in location and physical environment of our customers, Prospect Time designs and builds stand-alone single to multiple wind turbines, to large scale wind farms to generate electricity for single and multiple facilities, as well as for large communities.


Water energy is another aspect of Prospect Time’s expertise. We build hydroelectric power plants for different countries and communities by using water in different states and different ways (river, waterfall, sea waves, and tidal water, etc.) by converting the energy in falling water into electricity by passing it through turbines. In some cases, other than electricity generating, we build facilities to employ water energy for the drilling and mining of natural gas, coal, oil, and uranium.

Besides building hydroelectric power plants by using a dam on a river to store water in a reservoir, where water released from the reservoir or lake flows through a turbine to generate electricity, we also build pumped storage plant to store power. The power is then sent from a power grid into the electric generators where turbines are spin backward to pump water from a river, a lake, or lower reservoir to an upper one where the power is stored. To use the power, the water is then released from the upper reservoir back down into the river or lower reservoir.


Waste To Energy – TDF from End of Life Tires

To save our Planet Earth and better protect the environment we have already entered the Waste to Energy era. Being a responsible corporate citizen, Prospect Time International Investment Ltd assumes an indispensable role in the waste-to-energy industry. One of our first steps is on turning end-of-life tires into energy (Tire-Derived-Fuel TDF), as well as plastic and metal recovery.

Through the use of current cutting-edge technologies, such as Pyrolysis, we convert waste tires into energy. In fact, tire gives a higher yield on heat energy than incumbent coal. The future of tire-to-energy is very promising when compared with the environmentally damaging oil wells, fracking, coal, tar sand mining and incineration. When energy stopped coming from all of these sources, we could still create the energy needed by converting various waste sources to energy, e.g. tires, plastics, and even municipal solid waste.

The collected waste tires will have to be shredded down to about 3/4 of an inch and de-wired. Then, the tire chips are inserted into the Pyrolysis system where the tire chips will be heated without combustion in the absence of oxygen. This allows the tire chips to be super-heated without them burning.

By breaking down the hydrocarbons with super heat, synthesis gas (Syngas) and solids (carbon) are formed. The carbon is micro-milled to a very fine powder and pelletized to create tire derived carbon black (rCB) to replace crude oil derived carbon black for pigmentation and lower grade rubber products. The Syngas is condensed into a Pyroil which is then upgraded to an ultra-low sulfur diesel. Any Syngas that is not condensed is recirculated into the burners so that the gas produced by the Pyrolysis system is used at almost 100% with minimal waste.

The beauty of waste-to-energy are manifold. It helps reducing waste tires being buried into landfills, improving the environment and creating cleaner fuels than traditional oil wells and coal mining. Furthermore, instead of having toxic waste product like tire leaching into the soil and underground water, breeding and manifesting mosquitos infestations from water waste tires capture, reducing the potential for catastrophic fires and pollution created by waste tires, tire-to-energy creates a cleaner version of fuel, energy and carbon than the crude oil alternative. Such a pure form of recycling sees a huge benefit to society and the environment.
